SEA OTTER
Talk about the worst luck and working bike in known history. The one word that sums up the weekend is poop. The super XC was nice and muddy, i was loving the conditions but my bike wasn't. During the first lap i lost both of my brakes i was trying to stop with metal against metal and from my experience that doesn't work. I lost alot of spot because i had to run the descents and on the track i couldn't make the tight 180 degree turn so every lap i would almost smash into the cement wall. The TT went ok i didn't have any problem besides myself. The short track started out really well. I was trailing right behind Walker and Trebon for the first 2 laps until yet again i lost my brakes. I fell back a couple of places and then yes i lost my shifting so i fell back very quickly and got pulled. On to the XC the first lap was descent i made up some spot and i was feelling reasonably well until psssssssssssssss. I flatted but then i fixed it and kept rolling. I didn't really start making up any spots after the flat because i was so cold after stopping in the rain so i was riding in the 70s and the again booooom. I rolled my tire, i started walking and waited for someone to throw me a tube. I ran into a course marshal and he gave me a tube so i fixed it and as soon as i started to roll again i heard the course marshal call me in for recieving a tube from someone else not in the tech zone so i was DSQued. i finally finished Sea otter but i was disqualified. Besides the racing the only thing i have been doing is my 20 page paper due on wednesday.
