These guys were burly, they were on road bikes.
WoW! thats all i have to say about this weekend. It was a shock to the system to start cross racing once again. It felt like i was having a heart attack and breathing through a straw while i was racing. All those east coast dudes are nuking right now. I can't believe how fast everyone is riding. If you messed up in one corner or slowed on a straight away a group would come flying passed you going 100 mph.
The first day of racing was a struggle, for the first 30 min of the race I looked like a retarded kid trying to hump a door knob. I was hovering in the mid 80s for the first half and then i finally opened up and moved up into the 50s where i finally finished. The next day was a little better but still not any bit of a performance that i was looking for. I tried lining up earlier for the race then the day before because there were about 110 guys racing but When i got to the line i was in the last row again. I was there 20 minutes early! But anyways i just tried to go fast and move up as much as possible and i ended up in 35th so not bad.
It was definatly nice to stay at home and see some friends and also see the family. I saw my "Puppy" who is like a year old but is already 105 lbs, hes a big dude. He went to his first cross race on sunday but he got loose on a straight away while watching the womens race and he attempted to chase down one of the ladies that was in the back of the pack. The girl flipped out but my mom got a hold of him and controlled the situation. Thats enough for now i have to start a paper for tomorrow.
Later Adigga
P.S our new roommate Richard Timmons folded Troys laundry over the weekend while we were gone. EWWW and the bear has a site now. its under the links.
